Product Architect, Rackspace
John is a Product Architect at Rackspace where he designs hosted products built on VMware technologies. His recent design work involves VMware vRealize Automation, VMware vRealize Operations and VMware Site Recovery Manager. Prior to joining Rackspace in 2015, he spent 11 years delivering professional services on behalf of VMware and teaching the official VMware curriculum as a VMware Certified Instructor (VCI) in the USA and abroad. He is the lead author of the VCP6-DCV Official Cert Guide (VMware Press), a co-author of the VCAP5-DCA Official Cert Guide (VMware Press) and the author of several white papers. He holds several advanced certifications, including VCIX-DCV, VCAP5-DCA, VCAP5-DCD, VCAP5-DTD, VCAP5-CID, and VCIX-NV. He is a vExpert (since 2014) and the author of the vLoreBlog.com.
